“ The best meal we’ve had this visit to the cape. Our server Samantha paid close attention to detail, was very kind and knowledgeable of the menu. We had a memorable time eating amazing food while looking out to the ocean, you really can’t get much better than this. When we go back home to our busy lives we will always think back to night we had here and will be dreaming of the miso butterscotch ice cream until the next time. Superb! ”
“ A overall dining experience! Complimentary valet parking makes showing up very easy and getting there early might guarantee you a window seat. We were seated by the window with a great view of the water. Drinks were exquisite, flavorful, and smooth - and garnished well. Ordered a caesar salad to split and it was plenty large enough for the two of us. I ordered the sea bass and my SO ordered the swordfish, both cooked to perfection. It was the best we'd had of either (and we've had our fair share). Our waitress was attentive but not too crowding and when we expressed that it was our anniversary, we received a complimentary dessert. The hostess and valet guys were very pleasant, too. By far, this was the best restaurant we dined at during our trip to the Cape! ”

We are the worst at making reservations so imagine our delight when we got lucky on a Friday for a time on Saturday night, last night April 26, 2025. We went and the food, service, and ambiance was top notch. We loved the menu and our server, she was so lovely. And then this happened. Today their manager called me to ask how it all went. He doesn't know me, and I don't know him. But he saw my review on Open Table and decided to check in with me. We had a wonderful conversation and he thanked me for our business. So Ocean House? Thank you for hiring this guy. No, he doesn't cook the food (but your chef is amazing btw), he doesn't park the cars (those guys are amazing too as you know), and didn't take our order (but Wendy did and we've loved her for years)...but he saw that we left a review on Open Table and he called to say thanks for coming in! So yes, I hope you if you come to the Cape, or live here like us, you'll treat yourself to one night at the Ocean House. We will be back. Don't be like us, make a reservation today! “ Always a lovely experience at the ocean house. The cocktails are creative and delicious, the oysters on the half shell perfect, the Chilean sea bass was out of this world. I enjoyed the marine lobster ramen too. James and Morgan and all the staff are great and took great care of our party of 9!View was lovely even on a rainy day. ”
